The 6.2L HEMI® Hellcat V8 engine is just one of the two being honoured on the list of Ward’s 10 Best Engines for 2015. The other engine is the 3.0L EcoDiesel V6, which can be seen in the 2015 Ram 1500. Chrysler Group is looking at the human body, specifically the lung, to design its future CNG vehicles. The inspiration promises to deliver new innovations for vehicles running on compressed natural gas. The lung is comprised of numerous sacs called alveoli that expand to increase the total capacity of air within the lung. It is this design that Chrysler is trying to imitate.
Chrysler Group employees came together to collect a record number of items for Mittens for Detroit. The staff gathered together 35,000 pairs of gloves and mittens for the local organization in just under four weeks.
Several women business leaders with Chrysler Group received recognition at the annual Women of Colour Conference held in Detroit, Michigan, USA on October 23-25. It was the 17th annual event and is the only celebration of its kind to honour the achievements of multicultural women in technology.
