Ram captured several industry awards last year; these awards are welcome additions in the long line of excellence Ram provides.
At this years 2014 Canadian Truck King Challenge, the Ram 1500 was named “2014 Canadian Truck King” in both the Under $45,000 Category and Over $45,000 Category. The Ram 2500 also won for the 3/4 Ton Category.
In addition to the awards for the Ram 1500 and 2500 the Ram 3500 was named “King of Beasts” by PickupTrucks.com.
Showing that this brand knows trucks the Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn took home the award as one of Ward’s “10 Best Interiors” while the 2.6 Pentastar V6 engine received praise from 2013 Ward’s Automotive as one of its “10 Best Engines.”
The Dodge Ram was all over the map as far as awards, with the Ram 1500 winning the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) “Truck of Texas” award and the Ram lineup taking home the Vincentric “2013 Best Value Truck Brand in Canada.” Dodge Ram ruled the entire continent, with the Ram 1500 grabbing “2013 Truck of the Year” from the North American Car/Truck of the Year awards.
In 2013 Consumer Digest gave the Ram 1500 a “Best Buy” designation, while 2013 Automobile Magazine gave it an “All-Star” rating. The Ram 1500 was also named Motor Trend Magazine’s “2013 Motor Trend Truck of the Year ®,” making it the first ever back-to-back winner, as it also took the award for the 2014 Ram 1500!
With a fresh start in 2014, Ram is ready to take even more awards this year and is looking to the future!
