Jeep has a long standing reputation of being hardy, reliable vehicles. Over the span of 70 years Jeep has built said reputation by being an accessible brand capable of taking you on extraordinary journeys. You can live life to the fullest through the line of Jeeps, which give drivers a sense of security and relaxed confidence. To meet the demands from around the world, all Jeep models are sold outside North America – all are also available in right-hand-drive versions with gasoline and diesel powertrain options. With such a dynamic history it is only fitting that Jeep be able to team up with other successful brands and begin a strong partnership.
This year Jeep has announced their intention of being and exclusive sponsor of the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. This partnership will span over three years and will involve the Jeep brand as the exclusive vehicle and automotive partner of RCR (Resorts of the Canadian Rockies). RCR West resorts located in Alberta and British Columbia: Fernie Alpine Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, Kimberley Alpine Resort, Nakisa Resort, Wintergreen Golf Resort and Trickle Creek Golf Resort are those included in this exclusive deal.
Part of the sponsorship will entail an on-site presence involving: vehicle displays and select test drives of the Jeep brand with vehicles like that of Compass, Grand Cherokee, Patriot and Wrangler. Bob Devlin, Senior Manager – Western Business Centre, Chrysler Canada stated in an interview; “Regardless of the terrain, Jeep products are perfectly suited for any kind of off- or on-road adventure, and what better place than the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies to showcase them in their natural element.” This deal will do wonders for the Jeep brand and reputations as so many Albertans are heading to the Rockies for their getaways. This partnership has caused quite a bit of excitement. With Jeep teaming up with Rockie Mountain ski resorts it will allow patrons to “Go anywhere and Do anything” due to Jeeps reputation of being able to handle many different terrains.
Another exciting venture Jeep has taken on this year is sponsoring the RCR ‘Jeep Junior Freeski Tour’. This event brings the best in Junior skiing and snowboarding, under the age of 18, together for competition in thrill-seeking and gravity-defying freeski. This event will take place on February 9-10 at Kimberly Alpine Resort, February 21-24 at Fernie Alpine Resort and March 2-3 at Kicking Horse Alpine Resort. These stops are the only Canadian stops on the International Feeskiers and Snowboarders Association (IFSA).
Jeep will also be showing off their brand by appearing on the cabs of the Golden Eagles Express Gondola at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, in the form of a Jeep decal wrap. This image truly portrays the Jeep slogan: “Go Anywhere, Do Anything.” On site throughout the winter, the official Jeep ambassador team will be available to answer product questions and giving away free merchandise.
