This 1970 Dodge Charger R/T 440 was purchased new in Manitoba, Canada on September 26, 1970 – and remained in the ownership of one family until it recently came to us. It came with the original bill of sale, window sticker, build sheet…and of course the original fender tag!
It is a rarely seen, stunning colour combination of (EW1) Alpine white exterior over the (C6B5) blue bucket seat interior. The (V1X) black vinyl top is also an original option.
Being an XS29 R/T U code model – the 440 engine is correct to the car. The current 6-pack set up is a very cool addition.
A few other options that got checked off when this car was ordered new were:
- (V6B) Blue Stripe
- (A04/R11) Radio group with AM, 8 track and dual rear speakers
- (M21/M31) Moldings
The car was rotisserie restored to a very high level a few years back and shows extremely well. Paint and body are excellent on this one…it’s ready to go!
